Warehouse Worker

Job TitleProvide support to the Department of Materials Management by performing routine tasks.Job DescriptionAssist the Warehouse Supervisor. Verify receipt of goods against purchase orders and packing lists. Fill stock internal requisitions. Drive a delivery van and make deliveries to campus departments. Pick up and deliver mail to the Americus Post Office as needed. Pick up large packages for express shipping via UPS, DHL, and FedEx. Pick up P-Card orders from local vendors that do not deliver to campus. Restock warehouse shelves with goods. Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse, including occasional sweeping. Perform limited clerical duties, including filing and answering phones. Assist with random inventory counts. Assist with decaling property inventory equipment. Assist with recording surplus property for disposal.Required QualificationsAbility to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work well with others. Ability to lift heavy packages. Inventory stocking and receiving experience is preferred. Valid Georgia driver's license required.
