Responsibilities Order Selector: Select orders Listen to order to ascertain item number and quantity of merchandise Build pallets Obtain merchandise from bins/shelves/pick slots Submit order to shipping Operate power equipment including riding jacks. Follow all rules of the department, company, union, and State and Federal laws Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation Lift Truck Operator/Receiver: Check in, unloads, and receives all freight for trucks Date-mark incoming freight to assure proper rotation of merchandise Operate power equipment including high lift, riding jacks, sit down forklift Maintain proper number of load locks for each trailer Place merchandise in storage area in designated places Pull orders for stores from list and transports merchandise to shipping area Maintains sanitary conditions in the warehouse by sweeping, mopping, and general clean up Follow established safety procedures. Follow all rules of the department, company, union, and State and Federal laws Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation Qualifications Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that includes climatic temperature changes subsequent to no air conditioning in summer and low volume heat in the winter.
