Company: Princeton Staffing SolutionsContract Type: W2 – Local or Travel Position Details:Specialty: Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH)Facility Type: Public School DistrictSetting: School – Special Education – Deaf and Hard of Hearing ServicesLocation: Stuart, FLWork Arrangement: 7.5 Hour School Days for 37 Weeks Hours Per Week: 37.5 Dates: 09/08/2026 - 05/28/2027Age Range of Students: K-12 Experience as a School Based DHH Teacher: Preferred Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) – Responsibilities:Deliver specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing using appropriate communication modes such as American Sign Language (ASL), lip-reading, and written English. Utilize assistive technology (e.g., hearing aids, FM systems, captioning, visual tools) to support communication and learning. Develop and adapt instructional materials and curricula based on individual student needs, IEP goals, and language abilities. Provide direct and consultative services to students across educational environments (general education, resource, or self-contained). Collaborate with general education teachers, speech-language pathologists, interpreters, and other related service providers to ensure access and accommodations. Support students' language development, academic progress, and social-emotional growth. Advocate for students with hearing impairments to ensure inclusive practices and appropriate accommodations. Maintain documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings.
