About the Position

Contract | Days (with rotating evenings) | Onsite | Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a multi-OR surgical center environment across two sites
• Scrub and circulate on a variety of surgical cases including General, GYN, Orthopedics (total joints), GU, ENT, Vascular, Robotics, and Spine
• Scrub DaVinci Robotics cases and orthopedic procedures including cataract surgeries
• Float between primary surgical site and secondary hospital site as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation, including overnight and weekend shifts, with a 30-minute call response time requirement

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• Strong hands-on experience in orthopedic and cataract surgery
• Ability to scrub DaVinci Robotics cases
• Flu vaccine required prior to start date (no personal or religious exemptions accepted)
• Must not have worked in a permanent, per diem, or travel capacity at any affiliated Beth Israel facility within the past six months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience in spine surgery
• Familiarity with a high-volume, multi-specialty OR environment
