Mathematics and Science Rubric Developer

Leading the development of subject-specific rubrics and evidence guides for mathematics and science, the full-time Rubric Development Lead will manage the entire lifecycle of rubric creation, facilitate training sessions with subject matter experts, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Lead the design and refinement of grade-level rubrics and evidence guides, ensuring alignment with content standards and research-based strategies Facilitate training sessions and collaborative drafting with subject matter experts, guiding mock reviews to inform rubric revisions Manage project timelines and deliverables, serving as the primary point of accountability for high-quality rubric delivery Required qualifications Master's degree or higher in education, curriculum and instruction, or a related field (PhD preferred) Minimum 10 years of experience in curriculum development or educational consulting Depth of content knowledge in mathematics or science, with familiarity in the other Experience with state education agencies or large-scale instructional materials review initiatives preferred Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines
