Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices applicable in the United States. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications Professional HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP. Experience with ADP and CostPoint. Experience working in the information technology or related industry. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and payroll software. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Experience supporting remote or distributed teams. Responsibilities Support onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the company. Maintain and update employee records in HR information systems with accuracy and confidentiality. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures in a timely and professional manner. Help administer employee benefits programs and assist with payroll coordination. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Participate in employee relations activities, including conflict resolution and performance management support. Assist in organizing training sessions and employee development initiatives. Generate HR reports and assist with audits as needed.
