Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience and an active CO or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 3-room Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory serving Cath Lab and EP Lab procedures, no IR
• Day shift schedule of 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with call required Monday through Friday and weekends
• Call team consists of 3 people (1 tech/2 RNs or 2 RNs/1 tech) with an average call burden of 8-10 days per month
• Performs coronary and peripheral angiograms, interventions, and device implants
• Uses Meditech and MacLab EMR systems
• No structural heart program at this facility

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab hospital experience required
• Electrophysiology experience preferred
• Coronary and peripheral intervention experience preferred
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care for coronary and peripheral interventional procedures and device implants
• Easygoing, flexible team members who are willing to take call are best suited for this unit
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
• Local candidates will not be considered under any circumstances
