Bring Better to the Bedside as an Advanced Practice Hospitalist in Manhattan, KS at Ascension Via Christi Hospital

Candidates must be comfortable with an open ICU with tele-Intensivist backup.

Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of 4 physicians and 4 APPs at Ascension Via Christi Hospital.
• Round on an ADC of 40 patients per day with two doctors each day under the collaboration of the doctors.

Qualifications:

• Board-certified PA.
• Previous hospitalist experience is preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Scheduling:

• 10-hour day shifts, Monday - Friday with two doctors/day with option for part-time.

Key Responsibilities:

• See a wide variety of diseases while still having specialists available in a small community-based hospital.
• Work in coordination with a tele-intensivist, with the specialist handling all procedures, and the hospitalist doctors running codes and rapid.
• Utilize Magnetech with Dragon for efficient dictation and access to our internal informatics platform for streamlined workflow and communication.
• Manage patients from admission to discharge.

Rewards and Compensation:

• Compensation: $95,000 part-time, $190,000 full-time.
• Productivity and quality bonus incentives.
