Key Highlights Weekly pay: $1,793 – $1,949 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating (shifts will vary, with possible float) Start date: 08/19/2026 Setting: hospital-style medical-surgical unit in a travel capacity Responsibilities Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical patients across adult age groups, under the direction of the care team Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care; administer medications and treatments per policy and physician orders Monitor patient status, including vital signs and laboratory data; identify and respond to changes in condition; elevate concerns promptly Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans, discharge planning, and patient education Document care activities accurately in the electronic health record and uphold patient safety and quality standards; maintain a therapeutic, compassionate patient environment May float to related units as needed; maintain competency and communication with unit leadership during assignments Requirements Active, unrestricted RN license (state of practice: Montana) or eligibility to practice in Montana Current nursing degree (Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing) Med/Surg nursing experience or demonstrated competence in medical-surgical care Ability to work in a hospital setting with rotating shifts and potential float duties Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and collaboration skills Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and comply with placement policies; ability to travel to Havre, MT for the assignment Benefits and Support Guaranteed 36 hours per week on a 13-week contract Competitive weekly pay within the stated range Rotating shift coverage with float as needed across the Med/Surg service line Travel assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC #J-18808-Ljbffr HealthForce Healthcare
