Toddler Intervention Specialist

The Toddler Intervention Specialist is responsible for providing intervention, planning, developing, and implementing center-based services that support Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) for the children who attend Hattie Larlham’s toddler class at Dahlberg Gibson Learning Center. Opening: Toddler Intervention Specialist Location: Columbus Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm during the school year Qualifications: A minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Special Education or related field. Department of Developmental Disabilities Early Intervention Specialist certification or ability to obtain one within 60 days required. ODE Early Childhood Intervention Specialist (P-3) license preferred. Experience or demonstrated ability to implement teaching methods, behavior management, and curriculum and education programs designed for students with developmental disabilities. Must be CPR and First Aid certified or able to obtain it within 60 days. Valid Ohio Driver’s license with 5 points or less and proof of insurance required. Must be certified in Medication Administration or able to obtain it within 60 days. Rewards and Benefits: $26.63 to $33.95 per hour based on experience; salaried exempt contracted position.
