Pulmonology - Critical Care Physician

Southern Illinois University (SIU) School of Medicine is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Assistant or Associate Professor in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine to join our growing academic pulmonary team in Springfield, IL .
Position Highlights:
- Turnkey Academic Practice Step into an established, high-volume pulmonary program with a strong referral base.
- Excellent Procedural Volume High demand for various pulmonary and critical care procedures including navigational bronchoscopies, endobronchial ultrasound, chest tubes, central lines, etc.

- Teaching & Mentorship Engage in the education of residents, fellows, and medical students , contributing to the academic mission of SIU School of Medicine. We have a PCCM fellowship with 2 fellows per year.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
• MD/DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary/Critical Care.
• Commitment to excellence in patient care, education, and clinical research.
• Eligible for medical license in the state of Illinois.

- Experience working in an academic environment, both inpatient and outpatient settings
