What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of inpatients and outpatients, considering diagnosis and age-specific needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with patient and family involvement
• Document assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with department policies
• Participate in patient care conferences, family meetings, training sessions, and departmental meetings
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding care and treatment plans
• Assist with supervision of physical therapy students, assistants, technicians, and volunteers
• Support department operations, including staff orientation, scheduling, and performance improvement activities

What You Need

• Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure
• BLS certification from AHA
• Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans

• Experience in outpatient therapy (not required but beneficial)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
