When needed, support directly in ensuring projects are managed properly to meet the plant’s needs.Main ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the planning, developing, and implementation of engineering projects to increase the plant’s production efficiencies and HSE policies/regulations related to High Pressure Die Casting, part processing, Machining, and inspection activities by means of automation or manual processing.Plans, designs, and oversees the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilitiesIdentifies appropriate materials, equipment, and services by applying engineering principles and methodologyEnsures work cells are designed to adhere to safety and Company 5S standardsThrough servant leadership, develops and mentors departmental personnel with goals to increase the technical capabilities and ability to service manufacturing needs and trains to support excellence in operations and maintenance of equipment.Provides a framework and tools for department personnel to utilize problem solving tools to identify and address root cause of problems.Engages in New Program Development with equipment acquisition to ensure equipment meets plant standards to achieve optimal maintenance and operational requirements.
