Employee signing bonus $300. Paid bi-weekly bonus. Responsibilities Check in with customers before they leave the shop to make sure they had a great experience. Assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in the Shop Manager’s absence. Run the floor (ensuring each employee is where they need to be, everything has been checked on each vehicle, and every customer is satisfied before they leave). Perform opening and closing procedures. Assist with counting and adjusting inventory. Train and develop subordinates. Serve as a role model to other employees in the shop. Hold team members accountable. Perform all technician duties, including but not limited to: Drain motor oil and change oil filters. Change engine air filters and cabin filters. Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure. Inspect and top off fluids. Assist the customer in selecting oil type and other services. Process payment for services performed. Perform coolant exchanges and transmission drain & fill services. Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor. Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness. Physical and Workplace Requirements Possibility of feeling like studying for a test at the beginning; important to gain strong knowledge of oils and services. Ability to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3‑foot deep pit to position safely under cars. Work requires walking, standing, bending, stooping, twisting for extended periods and performing activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning. Ability to work in hot or cold weather conditions. Must be alert and aware of surroundings. Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds. Reliable transportation required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
