Scale Operator - Seasonal

About The Role Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks and direct them to the correct loading/unloading areas Communicate with the production team to keep operations running smoothly Enter customer and commodity information into a tracking system Collect grain samples by probing incoming trucks General housekeeping duties for the scale room and office Greet customers and visitors (both in person and via phone) while providing superior customer service About You Experience using a keyboard and navigating computer screens Ability to handle standard office phone calls Operating a scale and grading equipment preferred but not required Strong customer service skills Attention to detail Dependable attendance Flexible scheduling for harvest seasonal period Must be able to remain standing on hard surfaces for long periods of time Must be able to work in an environment with high levels of grain dust Must be able to bend and reach in a normal range of movement Our Benefits We offer competitive health plans that begin on the employee's first day — there's no waiting period so you can be your best from the very beginning On top of your competitive base pay, you'll have an incentive opportunity, 401k safe harbor and additional company match Your hard work and dedication deserve a break.
