Responsibilities: * Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures * Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical histories accurately in the EMR * Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sterilization and supply stocking * Administer injections, collect specimens, collect blood, and perform basic clinical tasks as directed * Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively between front and back office * Schedule follow-up appointments, referrals, and procedure prep instructions * Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA compliance standards Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) preferred * Prior clinical or medical office experience strongly preferred * Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems * Strong phlebotomy and vital signs skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced specialty practice environment * Compassionate, detail-oriented, and a reliable team player About Us: Colon Rectal Associates of Central New York is a trusted specialty practice serving the Central New York community with expert colorectal care.
