Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer

Become a part of our caring community The Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer supports the development and execution of the cloud implementation strategy within the organization’s existing IT infrastructure. The Lead Cloud Solutions Engineer works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial, primarily in Azure across multiple projects, and develops solutions that enable analytics, reporting and data science insights. Responsibilities Work in agile product development framework Implement the organization’s cloud strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance, and support of cloud architecture. Work with stakeholders across the organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new cloud-based products/services, applications and solutions. Drive the roll-out of cloud management platforms, evaluate its performance and implement enhancements. Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks and work under minimal supervision. Mentor and coach developers. Use your skills to make an impact. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field 8 or more years of progressive IT experience as a senior developer in large IT projects 2 or more years of technical leadership experience Strong experience building scalable data platforms and data engineering In-depth experience with Azure cloud services Strong experience and knowledge with infrastructure and security as code Good communication, ownership, collaboration, and partnership building Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations to stakeholders Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
