• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 6 months
• Pay Rate: $30.00–$31.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with potential for overtime and some emergency on-call work
• Travel Requirements: Up to 2-hour radius servicing 15–20 dialysis clinics in the local area
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

As a Mobile Maintenance Technician, you will perform repairs and tend to several buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and ground requests. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. The candidate will create their own route and schedule based on work orders that come in, working independently across 15–20 dialysis clinics within up to a 2-hour radius. A truck and tools will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems
• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs; manage and track completion
• Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations
• Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information; respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion
• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance
• Plan daily activities based on work orders; complete emergency work orders first
• Perform HVAC and water heater preventive maintenance
• Check in with clinic managers if more work is needed
• Assess for safety hazards

Required Skills

• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
• Basic math skills; ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups
• Basic computer skills; candidate will use a laptop and cell phone
• Client and patient facing role — high level of professionalism is required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Universal EPA 608 license (highly preferred)
• Applicable HVAC certifications

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED — required
• Trade school diploma — highly preferred
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered
• Journeyman's license — required
• Valid Driver's License — required

Required Experience

• 5–7 years of relevant experience
• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of job-related experience (per role baseline requirements)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders required
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
• Candidate will work independently and create their own route and schedule based on incoming work orders
• Emergency on-call work required
• Overtime potential
• Travel within up to a 2-hour radius to service 15–20 dialysis clinics in the area
• Background check with drug screen and MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) required
