Business Intelligence Developer

Salary: $177,000 - 217,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, computer engineering, or another technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• Hands-on software development experience with big data and analytics solutions.
• Experience with GCP technologies, including BigQuery, Airflow, DataProc, Pub/Sub, Hadoop Hive, Spark, Python, and shell scripting.
• Strong background designing, developing, and optimizing large-scale data pipelines for processing, transformation, and analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database systems, including data modeling and performance and scalability optimization.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, source code management, and configuration management tools such as GitHub and XLR.
• Knowledge of distributed, multi-tier systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and knowledge of design patterns.
• Ability to assess complex data engineering challenges, develop effective solutions, and implement them.
• Willingness to learn and adopt enterprise big data frameworks and new technologies.
• Proactive approach to identifying continuous improvement opportunities and effective communication with product and cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of SDLC methodologies, including familiarity with Agile and Scrum ceremonies.
• MicroStrategy/Strategy One expertise across reports, dossiers, dashboards, documents, metrics, attributes, prompts, filters, and subscriptions.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases and GCP cloud data warehouses.
• Experience developing and tuning reports, troubleshooting issues, validating data, and supporting on-premises and cloud/CMC MicroStrategy environments.
• Knowledge of MicroStrategy security configurations, APIs, administration, migrations, and production support.
• Tableau Desktop, Server, and Cloud expertise, with experience creating visualizations and knowledge of Tableau administration, security, permissions, scheduling, and deployments.
• Strong SQL, data modeling, ETL, and cloud database knowledge, plus experience with data integration, cleansing, blending, validation, dashboard optimization, and troubleshooting.
• GCP Professional Data Engineer certification is a plus; experience with MicroStrategy Cloud/CMC and AI-enabled analytics is preferred.

• Provide engineering expertise to develop features for banking platforms, including Financial Crimes and Anti-Money Laundering.
• Improve engineering practices by using automation to strengthen resilience, predictability, and efficiency.
• Partner with product teams to shape and deliver technology solutions that transform Financial Crimes Compliance.
• Develop interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, visualizations, calculated fields, parameters, and filters.
