Your Role Assembler – Wood Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, and Holiday Pay. What You’ll Be Doing Build various sized wood crates while safely using power tools. Use tape measure to ensure the measurements match the cut sheet up to 1/8th inch. Safely use ladder when assembling the tops (caps) of crates. Assemble bases or skids for crates on the ground using a 20 pound, 3.5‑inch nail gun while crouching and/or kneeling. Read, interpret, find, and document possible cut sheet and/or stenciling errors. Apply adhesives to apply foam to wood crates and conduct specification checks. Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures. Follow all procedures, policies, and understand equipment use before use. Report equipment defects and/or maintenance needs to your supervisor. Report any unsafe acts to your supervisor. What We’d Like To See From You Highly Desired 3 months of experience in carpentry, construction and/or landscaping. Experience with dimensional and electrical power tools and motorized equipment. Basic computer skills to use Ops Center to log in & out of jobs with employee ID number. Preferred and Helpful High School diploma or GED. Bilingual (English/Spanish). Forklift experience.
