Systems Engineer 3

This position is for a systems engineer for the development and integration of advanced technology with heavy-duty equipment/machines. This includes the integration of sensors, components, and software for automation & autonomy products.

Education/Experience Required:

- Years of experience: 5 years of relevant experience; Masters 3 yearsexp

- Degree requirement: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an accredited engineering or robotics or equivalent technical field;

- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an accredited Engineering or Robotics or equivalent technical

field.

- 5 years of relevant engineering development work

- Familiarity with software development processes

- Experience reading and understanding prints for components and wiring harnesses

- Experience writing and tracking requirements

- Strong understanding of integrating sensors and compute as well as tradeoffs

- Great teamwork, communication, analysis, and troubleshooting skills are required.

- The individual should be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to learn at an accelerated pace, and

willing to put in the time to get the job done.

- Experience in the areas of robotics, remote control, or autonomy

- Experience with datalinks (CAN, Ethernet, etc.) and associated tools (CANape, Wireshark, etc.)

- Experience with Azure DevOps

- Experience with software development tools such as git, debuggers, and compilers

- Experience with ROS

- Experience with perception and positioning sensor configuration and calibration

- Experience with FMEA processes and a basic knowledge of electronic system failure modes

- Experience developing systems for mobile, earthmoving, agricultural, industrial, or off-highway

applications
