Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide hands-on occupational therapy in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records
• Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques to support continued care and safety
• Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations

Required Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Wyoming
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Current BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in long-term care environments
• Familiarity with state and federal skilled nursing facility regulations
