Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic procedures, and creating personalized treatment protocols
• Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either independently or in collaboration with supervising physicians based on your credentialing
• Instructing patients and their families on prevention, wellness, and efficient disease management strategies
• Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-up, chronic illness management, and ongoing care coordination
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide seamless, comprehensive care
• Maintaining thorough and accurate documentation within electronic medical records systems

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Needed

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent in specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
