Surveyor - Tampa or Orlando

Overview E LEMENT Engineering Group is currently seeking a Surveyor who is an experienced, motivated survey professional who can manage and oversee a wide range of survey projects. In this role, you’ll work with dynamic teams both in the office and in the field while collaborating directly with clients to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have land surveying experience, with a strong working knowledge of land surveys and preferably experience with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Responsibilities Oversee survey projects and/or direct preparation of all types of surveys. Provide guidance and direction to office staff and field crew(s). Collaborate weekly resource needs with others on the management team. Consult with clients and maintain strong client relationships. Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Adhere to safety protocol. Manage and coordinate projects with multiple team members. Qualifications Registered Professional Land Surveyor in FL. AAS or BS Degree in Surveying preferred. Strong team-building skills and experience leading a team. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of processing of raw (field) survey data, including digital levels, GNSS, robotic total stations, terrestrial and/or mobile LiDAR, UAS data processing a plus Knowledge of CADD software, Microstation, and AutoCAD software is a plus.
