Radiographer/NCT/CMA 26007779 Radiographer/NCT/CMA Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Radiographer/NCT/CMA Work location: 580 South Denton Tap Road - Suite 123 Coppell, Texas 75019 Work environment: Family Care Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Wednesday (7am - 6pm), Thursday thru Friday (7am - 5pm) ... Shift will depend on which Provider needs help. Department Highlights Company Bonuses No weekends or holidays Good Work Life Balance Here’s What You Need High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED) Completion of an approved NCT Training Program (REQUIRED) Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (PREFERRED) Six months of relevant work experience as an NCT (PREFERRED) One year Medical Assistant experience (REQUIRED) NCT registered by the Texas Medical Board and CMA certification upon hire (REQUIRED) Successful completion of THPG Clinical Training (CT) educational program with demonstrated competency in required skills - within 90 days of job entry (REQUIRED) BLS - Basic Life Support ... maintained every 2 years (REQUIRED) What You Will Do Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and protects patients, self and other staff from radiation hazards Take X-Rays following established procedures for patient care and safety, which involves setting up and operating radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients Select proper ionizing factors for radiological diagnosis and adjusts and sets radiologic controls Perform quantity and quality control checks to assure X-Ray unit meets standards required by laws, rules and department policies Obtain and record vital signs including, but not limited to: blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problem Additional Perks Of Being a Texas Health Employee Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, Student Loan Repayment Program as well as several other benefits.
