Social Services Director Requirements
- Degree in social work
- Minimum of one year experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, mental health, healthcare, or human services.
- Strong communication, documentation, and resident support skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, and healthcare professionals.

Social Services Director Duties
- Provide emotional, psychological, rehabilitation, and resident support services under the direction of nursing and medical staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient condition, behavior, eating habits, and daily activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including nurses, psychologists, and psychiatrists.
- Interview residents upon admission and complete assessments and documentation.
- Participate in recreational and social activities with residents to encourage engagement and quality of life.
