Senior Program Manager, NPI Systems
Intuitive Surgical
Senior Program Manager responsible for supply chain readiness, launch, and scaling of new robotic surgical systems at Intuitive Surgical. Role encompasses supplier selection, contract negotiation, capacity planning, and cross-functional leadership for complex product introductions in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams and program management for highest-complexity new product introductions
- Develop supplier strategies, conduct procurement selection, and manage supplier performance escalations
- Create and execute program roadmaps achieving cost, capacity, speed-to-market, and risk mitigation goals
- Negotiate long-term commercial agreements and contracts with supplier executive leadership
- Assess supplier capacity on 3-5 year horizon and develop complex mitigation plans for identified risks
Requirements
- BS degree or equivalent with 15+ years combined design, manufacturing, or supply chain experience
- Minimum 8 years supply chain experience and 3 years engineering experience in regulated industry
- Significant new product introduction (NPI) experience in regulated manufacturing
- Exceptional negotiation skills with proven cost savings and contract negotiation track record
- Strong financial acumen and experience building financial models
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems
- Master's degree preferred; medical device or SAP/Agile experience preferred
