Shift: Nights | 18:30 – 07:00
Schedule: 36 hours/week | Every Other Weekend

Position Overview

Via Christi Manhattan is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week night shift assignment. This position is a replacement role within the General Surgical Nursing department and requires a strong acute care background.

The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a hospital-based medical/surgical setting, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with facility standards and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to medical/surgical patients
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policy

Requirements

• Active Kansas RN License or Compact Multistate RN License
• Minimum 2 years of hospital RN experience
• Current BLS Certification
