We are currently seeking an RN for our busy, state of the art Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Duties include prepping the patient for surgery, IV initiation, health histories and physical exams, delivery of fluids, invasive monitoring, IV drug administration, recovery of patient, discharge instructions and follow-ups.
- Assist surgeon during procedures - including removal of wisdom teeth, extractions, orofacial orthopedics, maxillary and mandibular jaw reconstruction, TMJ treatments, oral oncology/ biopsies, dental implants, facial trauma, clefts and cosmetic facial surgery.
- Prescribe medications and treatments,
- Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations, assess post-operative
- Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
- Maintain patient medical records
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Qualifications:
- CPR/ACLS Certification
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong leadership qualities
We are a boutique, patient-centric practice. This position is full time, approximately 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
