We set you on the right path with careful onboarding and thorough training programs that prepare you for success in your role and beyond. $22 - $35 an hour The Cable Installer is a technician role that provides installation services across multiple platforms in support of head ends, hubs, and central offices. Technical responsibilities include working with a team to install various pieces of electronic gear and cabling systems to support our customers in the MSO, cable, telephone, data center and communications industry. Job Duties and Responsibilities Collaborate with team members to complete cabling installation activities. Assist in equipment installation and ensure proper setup. OSP/ISP cable pulling experience Support infrastructure installation tasks as part of project requirements. Perform testing of fiber optic cable to ensure functionality. Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain compliance with standards and specifications. Job Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities Proficient in working with fiber and proper installation techniques. Ability to use basic PC and mobile applications for configuration and troubleshooting. Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills, processes, and responsibilities. Take initiative by identifying tasks that need to be completed and proactively offering support. Education and Experience 1+ years field technical installation and cabling experience 1+ years working documentation on technical jobs (JCR, SOW, etc.) OSHA-10 certification preferred Confined space training preferred Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 100lbs Must be able to pass drug screening NTI provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance and retirement savings options.
