Social Media Community Manager

A globally recognized fashion and lifestyle brand is seeking a Community Engagement Manager to provide high-touch social media and audience engagement support surrounding one of the most anticipated fashion events of the year. The Fashion Show will generate a significant increase in social content, fan conversation, comments, reactions, and user-generated content across digital channels. This individual will help manage that increased activity while ensuring the brand remains highly engaged with its audience throughout this important cultural moment. This is an execution-heavy, fast-paced role requiring strong social media instincts, excellent judgment, and the ability to monitor and respond to a large volume of online conversation in real time. Key Responsibilities Manage increased community engagement surrounding the fashion show across major social platforms. Monitor and engage with fan conversations, comments, mentions, tags, and reactions. Identify compelling user-generated content (UGC) and organic audience conversations. Support amplification and engagement opportunities around fashion show content and key moments. Help maintain an active, authentic, and responsive brand presence throughout the event lifecycle. Monitor social conversation and audience sentiment before, during, and after the fashion show. Identify emerging conversations, trends, fan reactions, and culturally relevant opportunities. Escalate sensitive, high-visibility, or potentially reputational conversations to appropriate stakeholders. Partner with social media, creative, marketing, PR, and content teams to coordinate engagement efforts. Support increased publishing and engagement needs during peak periods. Help ensure community interactions remain consistent with established brand voice and guidelines. Provide observations and insights regarding fan response, content performance, and community sentiment. Qualifications 2-4+ years of experience in community management, social media management, social engagement, digital marketing, or consumer engagement . Experience directly managing audience engagement for branded social media accounts. Strong familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X. Experience identifying and managing user-generated content is strongly preferred. Excellent writing, communication, and editorial judgment. Strong understanding of internet culture, social trends, and real-time audience behavior. Ability to remain organized and responsive during periods of exceptionally high social activity. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-profile environment with shifting priorities. Experience supporting major events, launches, entertainment properties, fashion/beauty brands, or cultural moments is highly desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
