Security Specialist, Vulnerability Management

To establish a risk-based vulnerability management capability, the full-time remote Security Specialist, Vulnerability Management will manage scanning strategies, validate findings, and prioritize remediation across cloud platforms, applications, and network infrastructure. Key responsibilities Establish authoritative visibility into vulnerabilities across various asset classes and prioritize remediation based on risk factors Design, configure, and maintain scanning strategies, ensuring safe execution without disrupting production environments Analyze CVEs and validate findings to determine their applicability and exploitability in the company's environment Required qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience in vulnerability management, security engineering, or a closely related discipline Demonstrated ownership of enterprise scanning and vulnerability-management workflows Strong CVE analysis skills and familiarity with enterprise vulnerability platforms Hands-on knowledge of Linux, TCP/IP, DNS, and cloud infrastructure Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience Virtual Vocations Inc
