Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Friday to Tuesday

General Information

Facility Type: 30-bed critical access facility with 2 ultrasound rooms
Staffing: 1 Full-Time (new graduate) and 2 part-time experienced technicians, along with 2 travelers
Day Shift Staffing:
- 1 technician: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- 1 technician: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- 1 technician (Saturday/Sunday): 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with after-hours call
Night Shift Staffing: 1 technician: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Patient Ratios: 30 minutes to 1 hour per exam
Equipment: GE Logic E10, Trophons, Parks Flolab; EMR: Cerner; PACS: Philips Intellispace

Qualifications

Required Certifications

BLS
ARDMS (Abdominal or OB)
Preferred: Vascular RVT registry

Essential Skills

Must Have:
- Experience in OB ultrasound
- Ability to perform general ultrasound scanning with vascular capabilities
Preferred Attributes:
- RVT certification
- Experience with high-risk OB cases

Typical Procedures

Abdomen and pelvis ultrasounds
Vascular exams (carotid/venous, ABIs)
OB/GYN ultrasounds
Small parts and breast ultrasounds

Best Fit for the Role

We seek a team player who can efficiently complete exams within 30-45 minutes and is capable of writing reports. The ideal candidate will maintain a positive work environment and manage responsibilities without any drama.

Unit Guidelines

Technicians are expected to adhere to all written protocols and guidelines for exams as directed by radiologists, ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards.

Call and Weekend Requirements

Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
One night of call per week
One weekend of call per month
Approximately 6-8 days of call per month
