Position Title: GP LEAD BREVARD AFTER SCHOOL School/Center: South Lake Elementary Location: 3755 Garden Street, Titusville School Year: 2027 FY Schedule: Split shift: 6:30 am–7:30 am and 2:00 pm–6:00 pm Pay: Grade 16 – $15.95 per hour Contract: 10 months Hours per day: 5.000 Qualifications and Certifications GP LEADER I – Education & Relevant Experience: Must be age 18 at time of employment Experience working with children – preferred HS diploma or equivalent Certifications & Licenses – GP LEADER I: Department of Children and Families Standards for Quality Afterschool Programs (SQAP – 8 hours online as in‑service) or equivalent DCF‑AMAP Course Achieving and Maintaining Quality Afterschool Programs – 12 hours; complete within 90 days of appointment American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED certification, or obtain certification within 90 days of appointment BAS Academy Level I (24 hours online) for the School Age Certification; obtain training within 90 days of appointment, completion within one year Valid State Driver’s License GP LEADER II – Education & Relevant Experience: HS Diploma or equivalent Two years’ experience working with children Certifications & Licenses – GP LEADER II: Department of Children and Families Standards for Quality Afterschool Programs (SQAP – 8 hours online as in‑service) or equivalent DCF‑AMAP Course Achieving and Maintaining Quality Afterschool Programs – 12 hours BAS Academy Level I and II (48 hours online) of the School Age Certification American Red Cross or American Heart Association First Aid/CPR/AED certification BAS Academy Level III (24 hours online) of the School Age Certification, or obtain training within 90 days of appointment with completion within one year Job Type and Activities: Support Personnel; Instructional Subject: N/A; Support Personnel Area: Childcare; Career and Technology Education; Coaching Activity: N/A #J-18808-Ljbffr Brevard Public Schools
