Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle Denial Prevention & Predictive Analytics

Role Description
We are seeking a highly engaged, outcomes-driven leader to advance our Denials Prevention strategy through predictive analytics and operational excellence. This role partners across Revenue Cycle, Clinical, and Payer Relations to:
- Identify denial risk early
- Translate complex data into actionable insights
- Drive sustainable process improvements that protect revenue and elevate the patient financial experience
The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of denial drivers and reimbursement policy with a forward-looking analytics mindset, building models, dashboards, and governance that enable:
- Proactive intervention
- Measurable performance gains

The Senior Manager provides direction to professional and supervisory staff in the Revenue Cycle and ensures the integrity of revenue and billing information for Mayo Clinic. Responsibilities include:
- Participating in strategic planning with the Revenue Cycle Leadership team
- Translating the Mayo Clinic and departmental vision into meaningful and effective responses and results
- Establishing key performance indicators to effectively manage staff and outcomes
- Delegating responsibility and authority to carry out work
- Managing multiple functions and serving as a resource with oversight in day-to-day activities
- Managing multi-site operations
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and acting as a catalyst for realizing these improvements
- Facilitating and generating new ideas, mediating on difficult issues
- Recruiting, developing, and managing performance within areas of responsibility
- Participating in the overall management of the Revenue Cycle by chairing and serving on Enterprise projects/groups, task forces, councils, and committees
- Serving as a liaison between sections and other departments and agencies inside and outside Mayo
- Creating customer service-driven sections and fostering collaboration with physician and administrative colleagues
- Building teamwork within the Enterprise Revenue Cycle
- Participating in retention planning initiatives
- Traveling as assignments warrant
