You'll oversee multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors, navigate regulatory frameworks, and drive high-quality delivery from planning to close-out. You'll start by finalizing your Risk Register and Project Plan, check in with your design and construction teams, and follow up on permits. In the afternoon, you might visit a restoration site to coordinate with subcontractors and monitor progress, then report on budget performance and percent complete.You'll use RES's PM Best Practices (Opportunity Charters, Risk Registers, MS Project schedules) to manage scope, risk, and timelines. Whether you're speaking with regulators, adjusting plans due to unexpected site conditions, or presenting updates to a client—you'll lead with clarity, purpose, and professionalism.We would love to talk to you if you have many of the following:A Bachelor's degree in applied sciences, engineering, or construction (or equivalent experience)At least 10 years of experience in environmental, restoration, or construction-related fields6+ years of direct project management experienceAdvanced knowledge of project management tools and documentation practicesStrong background in regulatory processes and permit managementExperience managing budgets, subcontractors, schedules, and multi-disciplinary teamsStrong communication skills and ability to manage risk, scope, and client expectationsDemonstrated success using PM Best Practices (Charters, Risk Registers, BMPs)Ability to mentor junior PMs or lead project teams across departmentsFamiliarity with financial reporting, forecasting, and project margin trackingWhat Will Make You Stand OutPMP certification, PE/PG license, or an advanced degreeExperience leading multi-phase mitigation, conservation, or restoration projectsCalifornia Pay Range$110,000 - $136,000 USDRES is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a VEVRAA Federal Contractor.
