Occupational Therapist – Occupational Therapy
Schedule: Day Shift 8 AM - 5 PM
Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Contract Weeks: 13
Requirements:
- Graduate of a professional course of education, accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
- Licensed to practice in the state.
- Ability to maintain an empathetic and understanding attitude towards patients and make sound judgments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Organize and conduct medically prescribed Occupational Therapy programs.
- Guide individuals in improving their quality of life following injury, disease, or loss of a body part.
- Consider patients' gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs when developing treatment plans.
- Float to an acute setting as needed for patient care.
Compliance / Notes:
- An in-state traveler will not be considered unless they exceed a 250-mile radius from the facility.
- Modality endorsement per state guidelines required.
