Job Description We are seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to support the development and implementation of vehicle electrical architecture solutions for automotive platforms. In this role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to help define electrical system topologies, support power distribution design, and ensure vehicle architecture solutions meet program requirements. This position is ideal for engineers with experience in automotive electrical systems who are looking to grow their expertise in vehicle EE architecture. Responsibilities Support the development of vehicle electrical architecture solutions for assigned vehicle platforms and programs. Understand platform and program requirements and assist in developing optimized electrical architecture and power distribution solutions. Identify architecture gaps and support the development of appropriate technical solutions. Collaborate with Vehicle Architecture, Power Distribution, and Wiring teams to support vehicle integration activities. Assist in creating electrical topologies and schematics for vehicle applications. Work with the Schematics Design team to develop System Design Packages (SDPs). Support architecture and power distribution discussions with cross‑functional engineering teams. Generate applicable architecture and infrastructure requirements to support component sourcing activities. Develop electrical topologies and schematics for prototype and mule vehicles. Support energy management activities by collecting component current consumption data for analysis and simulations. Assist in reviewing vehicle power distribution configurations and support fuse sizing updates where required. Participate in impact assessments and technical feasibility evaluations for engineering changes. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline. 1–3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Vehicle Electrical Systems, EE Architecture, or a related automotive engineering role. Basic understanding of embedded networked systems, electrical architectures, and system interfaces. Experience with automotive communication networks such as CAN, CAN‑FD, LIN, and Ethernet. Understanding of automotive EE architectures and vehicle development processes. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a systems engineering mindset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Familiarity with Ethernet‑based communication protocols, including AVB, TSN, SOME/IP, TCP/UDP, and MQTT. Knowledge of off‑board communication technologies such as Wi‑Fi, 4G/5G, and V2X. Exposure to Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts. Experience with automotive networking tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, or PREEvision. Familiarity with AUTOSAR concepts and development processes. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional engineering environment.
