About the Position

Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: MRI Technologist Specialty: Radiology MRI Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 7.5 hours (15:00 - 23:00) Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License Certifications: NYS Injection/IV Certification, R.T. (R) (MR) (ARRT), BLS Must-Have: - NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License - NYS Injection/IV Certification - R.T. (R) (MR) (ARRT) - BLS Description: Shift times are from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The position requires working every other weekend and holidays. The worksite is in a community hospital setting. The technologist will be responsible for performing MRI procedures. They should have a strong understanding of MRI safety protocols. Ideal candidates will demonstrate effective communication skills. They will also need to provide patient care in a professional and compassionate manner. Attention to detail is essential for the accurate completion of scans. The role may involve collaboration with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes.
