Production Planner I

As a Production Planner I at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of production schedules that align with customer demand and business goals. You will work closely with various teams to support efficient production planning and ensure timely delivery of products. You will report directly to our Senior ISC Production Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Tempe, Arizona location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the effectiveness of the supply chain by supporting production planning activities that help optimize resource utilization and meet customer delivery expectations. Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in creating and maintaining production schedules that meet customer demand and business requirements. Coordinate with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams to ensure material availability and resolve production-related issues. Monitor production progress and communicate any changes or delays to relevant stakeholders. Utilize ERP systems to update and manage production planning data accurately. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production planning processes and supply chain performance. QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
Experience in production planning or supply chain support within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and inventory management principles. Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or PeopleSoft for managing production data. Ability to analyze production schedules and assist in adjusting plans to meet delivery targets. Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues.WE VALUE
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Experience in manufacturing environments with exposure to procurement, logistics, and production operations. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Certification such as APICS CPIM or CSCP is a plus.
