Inventory Specialist
A well established fastener manufacturer is seeking a dependable Inventory Specialist to support its Tool Room. This position is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Location: Terryville, CT Responsibilities
Organize, count, and maintain inventory of tools, tooling, supplies, and related materials in the Tool Room
Receive, label, stock, and issue tools and supplies to production personnel
Track tool movement and maintain accurate inventory records
Conduct physical inventory counts and report discrepancies
Keep tool room shelving, bins, and work areas clean, organized, and clearly labeled
Assist with identifying missing, damaged, worn, or low-stock tools
Support the Tool Room and production team with other inventory-related tasks as needed
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work area Qualifications
Previous inventory, stockroom, warehouse, tool crib, tool room, or manufacturing experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
Comfortable counting, sorting, labeling, and handling small parts and tools
Basic computer and data-entry skills
Ability to work independently and follow established processes
Reliable attendance and ability to commit to the full three-week assignment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials as needed throughout the shift
