We are recruiting for a Full-Time Outpatient Receptionistto join our skilled team of pediatric professionals in Pennsauken, NJ. This position is benefit eligible. POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for answering telephone calls and transferringto appropriate destinations. Responsible for greeting patients Responsible for collecting required documentation,copays, deductibles or payment ofservices prior to treatment and documenting transactions in EMR. Responsible for daily insuranceverifications. Responsible for monitoring entrances andexits of visitors, patients and families. Handle various clerical functions asassigned by Manager and/or Director. Thorough knowledge of facility policies andprocedures as it relates to the above duties. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED Two years of experience in clerical/healthcareenvironment preferred Computer literate in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook Ability to communicate effectively with team membersand patient’s families Ability to function independently or under supervisionas task requires Organizational and time management skills Strong customer service skills Bilingual (Spanish) SCHEDULE: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 10am - 6pm Tuesday: 11am - 7pm Friday: 9am - 5pm About Us: Weisman Children's is a highly-acclaimed,community-based pediatric organization consisting of an acute carerehabilitation hospital, outpatient rehabilitation centers, and medical daycare centers.
