**Title: Quality Technician I **Location: Hauppauge, New YorkDuration: 8 months (“Extension possible”)1st Shift - Fully Onsite 7am - 3:30pmJob description:The Quality Technician I is responsible for supporting the business with QA activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and shipped to customers. A critical function to provide inspection support as well as process improvements to sustain and improve product quality.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Works with team to provide audits and inspections on product quality according to Zebra's quality-assurance processes- Assist with conducting nonconforming materials investigation and report to Zebra's authorized vendors as appropriate- Engages management and team members as required for assistance in addressing new or complex issues.- Works with team to support new product quality plan implementations.- Ability to understand technical requirements, delivering output following learned technical framework.Job Requirements:Preferred Education: High School or equivalentPreferred Work Experience (years):0-3 yearsKey Skills and Competencies:- Ability to learn technical information.- Fluent level of English (written and verbal)- Beginner level skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and Outlook- Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-task environment- Solid professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management) #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
