Desktop Support Analyst

Position OverviewWe are seeking a customer-focused Desktop Support Analyst to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users in a professional services environment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals, delivering exceptional customer service while resolving hardware, software, and access-related issues.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral equipment.Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network connectivity issues.Manage and prioritize support requests through a ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.Perform ticket triage, issue categorization, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).Administer user accounts within Active Directory, including:Adding and removing usersUser provisioning and deprovisioningPassword resets and account unlocksSecurity group managementAccess and permission assignmentsConfigure and deploy workstations, software applications, and peripheral devices.Support onboarding and offboarding activities for employees.Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and technical procedures.Collaborate with infrastructure and application support teams to resolve complex technical issues.Deliver white-glove customer service to attorneys, paralegals, and business professionals in a fast-paced environment.Required Qualifications2 to 4 years of IT support experience in a Help Desk, Desktop Support, PC Technician, or similar role.Hands-on experience working within a ticketing system and managing support queues.Strong experience with Active Directory administration, including user management, permissions, and group administration.Experience troubleshooting Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and standard enterprise software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-service mindset.Ability to prioritize multiple requests and work effectively under pressure.Experience supporting users in a professional services, legal, or highly client-facing environment is highly preferred.Preferred SkillsExperience supporting law firms, attorneys, paralegals, or legal staff.Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies.Knowledge of workstation imaging, software deployment, and endpoint management tools.Understanding of basic networking concepts and troubleshooting.Top Skills2-4 years of IT Support experience (Help Desk, Desktop Support, or PC Technician).Experience with ticketing systems, ticket triage, and incident management.Active Directory user provisioning, account management, permissions, and group administration.Exceptional customer service and communication skills supporting legal professionals and executive-level users.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
