Key Responsibilities
• Design site development plans for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Prepare grading, drainage, utility, erosion control, and stormwater management plans.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses in accordance with local and state regulations.
• Design on-site wastewater treatment systems, including septic systems, disposal fields, and related infrastructure.
• Conduct soil evaluations, percolation testing review, and septic feasibility assessments.
• Prepare Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) and supporting permit documentation.
• Coordinate permit applications with local municipalities, health departments, planning boards, and environmental agencies.
• Develop construction documents, engineering reports, technical specifications, and cost estimates.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts, grading plans, pipe networks, and utility designs.
• Participate in client meetings, public hearings, and agency reviews.
• Perform site visits and construction observations as needed.
• Collaborate with surveyors, environmental scientists, architects, contractors, and project managers throughout project execution.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Montclair, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $57.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
