Quality Inspector

Baxter seeks a Quality Inspector for final QA operations in Skaneateles, NY. The role involves inspecting medical devices, verifying documentation compliance, and managing nonconformances within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect device documentation and physical components against specifications for final acceptance and release
• Verify labeling accuracy and match serial numbers prior to device release
• Review event history logs and testing records for accuracy within the DHR system
• Record failing observations and disposition nonconformances through electronic systems
• Flag received products in ERP systems and identify nonconforming items for containment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA regulations, and ESD requirements
• Proficiency with measurement equipment and computer-based systems
• Strong attention to detail and visual inspection abilities
• Ability to lift 23 pounds and work extended hours as needed
• Pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience preferred
