Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Tech) for a travel assignment in New Jersey, requiring ARRT certification and 1-3 years of experience in a radiology setting.

Details

• Radiology department within an acute care hospital setting
• 3x13 hour night shifts, 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a rotating 7-week schedule
• 39 hours per week
• No on-call required
• May float to a nearby sister hospital facility

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Graduate of an accredited radiography school
• Active NJ State RT license required for consideration
• ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and care
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with demonstrated initiative, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Maintain equipment, assess safety, and ensure patient physical and physiological comfort throughout procedures
• Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures, including revisions as needed
• Travelers who have been on assignment at this facility for one calendar year must take a 30–60 day break before starting a new assignment
