Painter

Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team in Atlanta. This full‑time position offers a salary of $1400 per month. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling holes and cracks, and applying primer. Assure smooth finishes and accurate color matching, including minor repairs or touch‑ups. Select the appropriate paint type for each surface and apply it using brushes or rollers. Work independently or as part of a team, meeting project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Follow safety protocols when handling paints and chemicals. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential or commercial painting. Proficiency with different types of paint (e.g., latex, oil‑based). Ability to use various painting tools such as brushes and rollers. Knowledge of color mixing and matching techniques. Excellent hand‑eye coordination, physical stamina, and the ability to work at heights. Good time‑management skills and the capacity to meet project deadlines. Ability to follow safety protocols. Preferred Certification or degree in Painting/Decorating. Experience in drywall repair and surface preparation. Knowledge of building codes and regulations. Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
