About the Role:

As a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) within our agency, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals in their homes across the United States. Your primary objective is to enhance the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. You will work closely with clients and their families to understand their unique needs and deliver care that promotes independence and dignity. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of care while adhering to agency policies and healthcare regulations. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to supporting clients in living safely and comfortably in their own homes, fostering a positive and trusting relationship with those you serve.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) as required by state regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings in compliance with agency policies.
• Strong communication skills and basic proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience providing in-home care or working in a healthcare setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Additional training or certification in specialized care areas such as dementia or palliative care.
• Bilingual abilities to effectively communicate with diverse client populations.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and mobile care documentation tools.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote personal hygiene and comfort.
• Provide mobility assistance including transferring clients between beds, chairs, and vehicles, and supporting safe ambulation.
• Monitor and document clients’ health status, reporting any changes or concerns to nursing staff or supervisors promptly.
• Medications reminders and treatment support as directed, ensuring adherence to care plans and safety protocols.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, encouraging social interaction and mental well-being.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to coordinate care and support client goals.

The required skills such as effective communication and compassionate caregiving are essential for building trust and understanding client needs on a daily basis. Attention to detail and observational skills enable caregivers to monitor health changes and ensure safety effectively.
