SMT Machine Operator
We are hiring an SMT Machine Operator to help produce high-quality printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). This is a great opportunity for someone with at least one year of SMT machine operation experience who enjoys hands-on electronics manufacturing work and pays close attention to detail.
Our client manufactures electronic circuit board assemblies in a production environment where quality, accuracy, and attention to detail are essential. The SMT Machine Operator will work with specialized manufacturing equipment and production team members to help keep operations running smoothly and ensure products meet quality standards.

Job Duties
- Set up and operate SMT equipment, including solder paste printers, pick-and-place machines, and reflow ovens.
- Load and verify component reels and feeders against bills of materials and setup instructions.
- Monitor production runs, check component placement and solder paste quality, and report defects or equipment issues.
- Handle electronic components and solder paste according to storage, moisture-control, and ESD procedures.
- Perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance while completing production records and following work instructions.
Schedule
Monday-Friday 7:45 AM-4:30 PM
Pay
$18 per hour
Requirements
- At least one year of SMT machine operation experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of solder paste printing, pick-and-place machines, and reflow soldering.
- Ability to read and follow bills of materials, assembly drawings, setup sheets, and work instructions.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to identify small electronic components and verify their placement and orientation.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent SMT machine operation experience.
